Don't know if you are in Utah, but we just did an AC service today for our daughter's car, it was

only $300 for the replacement of a leaky hose, ac recharge, and emissions test.

I also just replaced my brakes for $125 labor for the front rotors and pads I just needed to provide the parts. If you get the parts from them, it's only $75 labor per axle.
