The couple across the aisle from me leapt up at the first opportunity and pushed their way through all the first-class people to be the first off the plane.

I only had a backpack, so as I got off like 3 minutes later I walked by them waiting in the line for gate-checked bags. I wondered to myself what they thought they had gained by being the first people to queue up and not waiting those 2-3 minutes, but decided it was none of my business.
