Ah Track in Wyoming, I don't miss those days.
I used to travel all over Wyoming for track meets to watch my kids run. It didn't matter what the weather looked like when I left home, I always loaded up the car ready for any condition from snow and cold to 95 degree weather. You just never know what you would get. One year the night before the state meet in Casper it dropped about 6" of snow. They cleared the track but the kids had a blast making snowmen in the infield. My son ran the first event, the 3200, in probably 25 degrees and a stiff wind. He didn't have his best time but did well.
