It, we immediately enter into the realm of power, authority, and abuse. Because when you censor based on opinion, it’s an opinion based on who has power and it’s their narrative that will be promoted.
And this is a board where the power lies with the owners.and we have to accept their world view if we want to be on their board. So we accept that we don’t have free speech here.

And let’s be honest, this isn’t like the social e issue of trans gender. For many anything they perceive to be an attack, discredits or is contrary to their view is claimed to be hurtful, without being able to prove harm. Where if you let free speech go, society will regulate it just fine. If I say something truly hateful and mean about trans gender, I’d be quickly shouted down and marginalized.
But if I say there are only two sexes because there is only an xx or xy (yes there are the documented biological condition where a few have both). And this is scientific fact, and then say I believe there is only two genders. I’ll be shouted down. Not with facts but with other beliefs. With many saying it’s hurtful to those suffering from gender dysphoria. To which I could reply with why am I required to treat their mental disorders by making myself tell lie.
Free speech is taken away not because of science or because I am actually harming any one, but because there is the perception that someone is harmed.
Now nobody considers what forcing someone to lie does to them. It’s okay to cause harm if you are protecting the ones in power.
And nothing cougar board is doing is really causing harm
