To hear him tear apart Jimmy Butler for saying if he was on the court they would beat New York and Boston pleased me so much.

Pat Riley Said:

"If you're not on the court playing against Boston or on the court playing against the New York Knicks, you should keep your mouth shut and your criticism of those teams."

Then he proceeded to say that resigning Butler would be based on availability. To the guy who wasn't available!

I love it so much. 99% of success if just showing up. Butler didn’t show up…and because of that he’s worthless to any franchise.

After years of hating Pat Riley, I now love him and his old school mentality. The NBA is screwed without guys like him. Turn on the NHL and watch real men compete.
