I was meaning flatthead river. not lake. I always prefer river/stream fishing
Same rule applies though. take both. The fish see every fly and every presentation of said flies. But a Rapala fished the right way is a magnet.

Going to the Sun Road is one of the best, but it is likely still closed and you need to get an advanced permit.
