My older brother was diagnosed with colon cancer at age 46 and is currently going through chemo. I am 36 and have read
that I should get screened ten years prior to a first degree relative that had a colon cancer diagnosis.

What is the process of getting this done? Do I need a referral? Do I need pre-authorization from my insurance for them to cover it since I am under 45?

Working on taking some more proactive approaches to my life because I can finally feel my unhealthy habits catching up to me.

Any recommendations for doctors or clinics in Utah County? Preferablly south Utah County?
