I thoroughly enjoyed that year. We boldly made the most of a crazy time. TA was fun to watch. And the receiving corps that year made one spectacular catch after another. And the wins @Navy, @Houston, @Boise, and @UCF (i.e. the bowl) were particularly impressive.
Peoples questioning the meaning of that season doesn't frustrate me. It was by all accounts a very odd year and even odder in terms of our overall schedule and SOS. And speaking of the NFL, I suspect that Wilson's ~flop in NJ did not help to lessen people's skepticism.
To me the 2020 football team was sort of mirrored by last season's basketball team; i.e. great season by all accounts, we over-achieved, fun to watch, etc.. But unfortunately in both cases when it mattered most, when all eyes were on us, we came up short.
