It's recency bias plus a few fans are still traumatized from 2017
but all in all I like where the program is headed. Kalani can lead the program into a special season occasionally, which is basically the program's ceiling without an influx of NLI money.

Try to keep in mind that BYU has been at a recruiting disadvantage compared to other P5 teams by being an Indy program.

IMO, most of that falls on Lamb & Tuiaki's recruiting. Fortunately, both are gone. Let's see what happens going forward.
