I used to avoid using the air fryer unless it was the only way to cook something, because it was such a pain to wash every time. Now I just drop a liner between the grate and my food. Once the food cooks, I toss the liner, and I rarely have to clean the air fryer. The ones we use cost about a penny each, so I have no qualms about how fast we go through them.
