a Mexican license plate. I was driving in Arizona, heading toward New Mexico, onto my ultimate destination of Texas. I had just glanced at it while driving and didn't get a long look. I knew the one above to have been the New Mexico license plate and I had never seen this other design.

Then I started seeing it a whole lot and I just kept wondering what all these Mexican citizens were doing driving their cars up in the US. There were so many. Funny when later in the trip I was actually stopped behind one at a light and that's when I saw the "New" part of New Mexico.
