Vegas is an easier faster drive. Panguitch is a scenic drive.
Don’t take Panguitch if there’s weather.
If you take the 89 stop and see Lee’s Ferry. Flagstaff has an interesting downtown. And stop and take in the views, they’re gorgeous just about everywhere.
If you want more sight seeing Bryce and Zion are side trips along that route (but would add several hours).
