Unlike Pope in 2019, he had no prior BYU coaching to his credits. That's a pretty big deal.
He's gonna need some time & patience from us, probably.
And this isn't to say that I'm not holding out hope for Keita, Berke the Turk, AND Lanier. Ultimately, though — as with Pope the last couple years — our inability to reel them in might have more to do with our NIL system & providers in place — than w our HC & his staff.
