I noticed yesterday that my taxes was rejected. I was wondering why my money hadn't been taken out.

Unfortunately, My son filed taxes on his own and marked that nobody could claim him as a dependent. He didn't know what that meant I guess.

I can claim him. But I can't now the he marked that on his taxes - hence the reason mine was rejected.

How do I fix this? Is it too late?

Can he amend his taxes and refile so that I can claim him?
