They are playing right into LIV's hand. The LIV model is not sustainable. It will only survive in its current form for as long as the Saudis are willing to burn cash. LIV has close to zero revenue sources. CW isn't paying squat for broadcast rights. Ticket sales are marginal at best. There are almost no sponsors.

The PGA should just wait it out. I watch a lot of golf and I have tried to watch LIV broadcasts but they really have little appeal. The PGA is going to screw this up.
