Honestly, I would just go to Blue Lagoon for 5 or 6 hours. A taxi to Reykjavik is like $200 each way and there's not that much to see or do. If you go in to Reykjavik, the big church is interesting and there are a few small museums that you can kill some time in. Lots of good restaurants.
