If this is the way that Kalani is dispersing NIL, I’m not sure how I feel about
it. I mean, he’s doing it because he wants to show loyalty to the upperclassmen who have been part of the team but I’m not sure it’s the best recipe to bring in the talent you need to compete and to keep them on the roster.

Not all players are the same and not all situations are the same.

If Aaron Dunn comes to BYU in class of 2025 should he make as much as Lapuaho his first season? He’s rated really high and BYU really wants him and they need OL desperately, so I say yes but if the way NIL is being dispersed is as mentioned above it would be a no from Kalani.

I believe there needs to be exceptions for high talent and hard to get position group players ( DT, QB, LT).
