in a one and done era for college bball, stats will be important. If a player
makes a sentimental connection with our university and plans to stick around for multiple seasons, then we can weigh potential more and production less.

If a guy is just going to be here one season, does it make us as a fanbase feel better if the guy missing a bunch of threes has high potential instead of low potential? To me its about whether they help us win games. A guy with huge potential and 38% shooting likely isn't going to help us win games next season unless he improves substantially.
