Agree. I don't think he is funny when he plays the Anchorman-type characters
He is best when he is sort of the clueless, affable, doofy, guy playing off someone. Some of my faves are Other Guys, Old School, Elf, Daddy's Home, Get Hard, Step Brothers. Less funny in things like Anchorman, Talladega Nights, and one I didn't even laugh once - Holmes & Watson.
