If you want to run downhill, run inside zone out of pistol
I've coached lots of different backs. Inside and outside zone, jet, counter (GT and GY), G lead, power, trap, draw, speed option, midline option, and speed option off zone/counter. Good players are good players no matter what scheme you run. The real secret is getting your run and pass games to complement each other well.
