I graduated from BYU in 08. In October about half of my company was let go. I
survived.
The crazy part is in May of 08 we ALMOST bought a house. Would have been awful. That specific house (at least per Zillow which I know is problematic), wouldn’t have reached its 08 value again until right before the pandemic
