There's just too much money wrapped up in treating diseases now than there is for curing them. One would argue "just imagine the amount of money if a cure was found", but ultimately there's more money to be made trying to treat it than actually doing anything about a cure.

Alzheimer's has impacted my life greatly. My Mom and Grandma both had it. My brother passed away a few months ago with Lewy Body Dementia.

However, I'm just too cynical at this point in believing there's more money for these giant corporations creating and treating the diseases than there is curing them.

Wish I had reason to feel differently.
