Logged in to Linkedin and saw doTERRA just did a big round of layoffs.
I feel torn on this one. They are obviously a huge employer in Utah county and provide a lot of really great student job opportunities. I worked for them for several years post mission. Too many years to be honest. They were good to me but I saw them take advantage of average people in order to further their brand one too many times. Best decision I ever made was to leave.

Some of my best friends growing up have built very lucrative careers working at doTERRA corporate and its never fun to see anyone laid off. On the other hand, MLMs shrinking and dying out always seems like it is a net positive. doTERRA (like everyone else) has always preached they are different than traditional MLMs. I do think they held to that early on but in that industry you can't keep the gravy train going without blurring ethical lines. Everyone outside the industry sees this much clearer than those that are in it. Years ago when all I had on my resume was a non technical MLM job, no one wanted to give me a second look. One of my friends has been trying to get out for a year now and is having the same experience. I really hope that industry dies a horrible death.
