It was the wrong call, and maybe still should have been overturned (I don't know enough about how they enforce goalie interference), but they can't overturn it based on cross-checking.
Which makes sense, since then I imagine a lot of goals would be challenged based on the argument that someone got cross-checked somewhere in the play.
