Based on tournament results, I think the B12 wasn't as good as billed.
Not that it wasn't a tougher league than anything BYU had ever experienced before, but the teams were repeatedly knocked out of the tournament by lower seeded opponents.

296 on luck factor. IOW, if luck would have been in balance BYU should have finished 12-6 in B12. Next year they will.
