There is not a scope long enough to visualize the small intestine. If patients
have bleeding problems that cannot be found on an upper endoscopy or colonoscopy, the have the patient swallow a pill camera that takes many pictures per minute and those are analyzed for bleeding sources.

The small intestine typically does not have polyps. Bleeding comes from other issues, which are not precancerous.
