Not that I know of. But they were asked who we could have recruited for 2023.
McKee had eligibility to play in 2023. After his mission, his recruitment was theoretically open. He was a better prospect that Jaren Hall and if he would've come to campus after his mission might very well have won the starting job over Jaren Hall.

The original question was asked who BYU could've recruited to play in 2023. He was a possibility. Unlikely that he would've signed with BYU and stayed through his senior season? Obviously. I don't think it was necessarily a recruiting "miss", but I'm sure BYU would've loved to have him in the program and I'm sure they tried.

Sam Leavitt redshirted last year, I get it. But--who knows?--maybe he would've impressed enough that he would've won the backup spot ahead of Retzlaff (or caused it so that Retzlaff never came in the first place). Would he have done better than Retzlaff over the last five games? Probably not, but who knows.

I answered the original question and everyone tells me that they weren't actual candidates because they chose someplace else to play. Of course they were both candidates to play for us in 2023.
