and had several people tell me that *I* am the problem with kids sports today. But I have never received any warning of any kind from a ref or reprimand from a league, let a lone being kicked out of a game.

Worst I've really done is gotten into a very quiet provocation with another parent who was on the wrong sideline and started swearing at me and I yelled at a ref a couple of times just along the lines of "that was a foul!"

Pretty tame, but there's a lot of pansies on the board. And FWIW, I don't see ANY problem with chasing a ref down to show him video.

A couple other parents on my son's last club team have been kicked out of multiple games.
