It's better to think of the European domestic leagues as conferences or
divisions in American sports. Winning the EPL is not the equivalent to winning the NFL title, or the World Series. It's more analogous to winning the NFC East, or the Big Ten. Same with winning La Liga, the Bundesliga, Serie A, etc.
The right equivalent to winning the NFL/Super Bowl is winning the UEFA Champions League, IMO. There is much more parity at that level, because there are many big clubs across Europe that can compete for the title. Five different teams have won the European Cup in the last 5 years.
