The Limited entry units are harder. I had my tag 7 years ago. Took my 20 years to draw. It goes like this:

Say there are 100 tags for a unit. 50 tags go to those with "max points" 25 tags to regular draw and 25 to out of state. (may not be that high for out of state)

So if you have max points and there are 50 people or less you are get a tag. Problem is there is always more than that for max points.

Everyone else has a chance to draw one of the other permits. There is always someone that draws a tag with 0 points etc....

This does not include point creep meaning.. I can only put in for one LE tag. Deer, Elk, Antelope, Moose etc... But I can I buy a point for al of them for $10 per species. so someone could have 20 points for elk, moose, deer, buffalo, etc....
