Very rarely does an OEM consistently reduce retail pricing for new cars
When new cars prices dive, there is an exponential downward pressure on used vehicles from the manufacturer.

Tesla has been decreasing prices for 18 months now, driving the used market into the ground. For those of us who bought new in the 2019-2021 timeframe, it has essentially made it very unlikely that we will ever sell our Teslas.
