With Type 3 chargers, most newer EVs charge much faster. Hyundai's Ioniq 5 gets
to 80% in about 18 minutes on a Type 3 charger (I drove one for a week earlier this year, and verified this). I think most newer EVs are similar.
Eventually charging will be wireless, and cities/countries will build streets and highways where your car can charge wirelessly while driving. Detroit has already built one that they are piloting.

You never go further than that in one day? I just can't until the range increases or the charge time decreases.
