CyberTruck range was 85 miles. To get back to that range (a 100% charge) was going to take roughly an hour and a half at the super charger. To plug in at the super charger, they had to drop the trailer, then back into the charging stall to within a foot of the charging station, and even then the charging cable barely reached the charging port. Wait, what? A Tesla designed vehicle at a Tesla designed charging station barely fits? Seriously?
The Ram 2500 used a quarter of a tank (8.7 gallons, so an estimated range of well over 300 miles), pulled into a pump with trailer still attached, and took a couple of minutes to top off to 100% before being ready to roll once more.
Fuel bill for the Ram was just under $27. The estimated charging bill (they had to estimate as they didn't want to wait the full hour and a half to find out) would have been around $37. So it is cheaper to tow with the Ram 2500. The Ram also seemed to be handling the load better.
