had when some BYU fans would refer to WCC "small gyms", but I've seen the same criticism/mocking from Utah fans when we were playing in the WCC (as opposed to the larger - yet mostly empty - PAC arenas). There was also some resentment when we'd take over those smaller gyms on occasion.

And, in case you hadn't noticed, BYU won the WCC combined and women's Commissioner's Cup 10 consecutive years and won the men's cup 6 out of the last 10 years (Gonzaga won only twice in that time), despite not fielding teams in all sports (men's water polo, women's beach volleyball and rowing), so your contention that we didn't win any WCC "trophies" is entirely false.
