If it gives you hot water for a minute it will give you hot water for hours. There is no reservoir, so the only
hot water you ever get is water that is being heated on demand (I'm ignoring circulators for this, which are nice for instant hot but not needed for sustained hot). I've had it five years, and yes, I get as much hot water as I want for as long as I want (and longer).
