Currently on a European vacation where I’m averaging about 15,000 steps a day. Hokas are very soft and bouncy and took some time getting used to.
They offer very little stability on uneven surfaces because of this bounce. They’re soft enough that they don’t help correct my gait, they magnify my outward supination. They’re comfortable on my feet, but my feet and calves are FAR more tired at the end of the day than they are with the other pair I brought, Merrill low tops.
The Merrills are far more stable, don’t allow me to supinate excessively and are great on cobblestone roads.
The Hokas I bought are Cliftons
