After Nebraska’s glory years of the 90’s, they had a nearly a decade of relative mediocrity (compared to 90s success) before even making the move from Big 12 to Big 10.

OU, while not as elite the past 2 years, nowhere near experienced that falloff. I bet they will still be a preseason CFP contender (especially with the new expanded format) in more years than not.
