A girl in our ward was out for like 8 weeks due to this. Back and
forth issues from the appendix burst, bowel obstruction, post op infections. It was super lame for her.
She’s finally back on her feet.

Probably a postsurgical ileus, actual bowel obstruction is possible but less likely. Purple vomit makes me worry about
