Probably been even longer for me…
1. They used to give everyone a Tee shirt, a reversible basketball jersey, a drawstring bag, and a water bottle. Only problem was that everyone had the same gear then, so sometimes people got their stuff mixed up. Bring a sharpie to write your names on the tags- and maybe something that will make your bags easily identifiable, like a bright key ring, ribbon, or pin.

2. The thing the kids love to do most is run around the dorms with new friends. So, you can certainly hike the Y, but Sunday afternoon is a great time for a nap while your son plays around the dorm.

3. Extra gear, like cleats, could be useful, but here is my best, best, best advice— don’t make it too competitive. Especially you as a father. This camp is not a competitive sports camp. So many dads get hurt because they get too competitive. Don’t be that guy. When you see that guy, those guys, just feel sorry for them. This camp is for the kids.

3. Saturday evening is a time you could go catch a movie or something with the kids.
