He has a pretty active YouTube channel and my son watches it a lot. I've thought a lot about his goals on YouTube. The videos he posts (playing novelty rounds of golf with the wrong clubs, playing against known celebrities or other golf YouTubers, etc.) look like they take a decent amount of time to film. While I know you can generate revenue from YouTube and I'm sure this is a profitable venture for him, I can't imagine he's going to all this trouble just for the financial upside of the videos themselves. He comes across as super friendly and positive on his channel. I wonder if its all part of a larger PR and social media campaign designed to make him more likeable, more familiar and to increase the number and size of his endorsement opportunities.
Call me Capt. Obvious here, I guess 🙂
