Feels like Kyle Whittingham is going to hang it up sooner than later based on little things you see/hear. Here's the latest example:

"Utah’s head coach fueled his retirement speculation several years ago when he said on ESPN radio in 2021 that he could, 'just about guarantee I won’t be coaching at 65.'" He turns 65 in November.
I've heard a bit about his plans to retire having been delayed by the Morgan Scalley (heir apparent) controversy from back in 2020. That seems to have faded a bit now, so maybe he's getting ready to call it. I doubt he likes NIL--in fact, he probably downright hates it. I think now that his star QB is in his last year and he has a solid team ready to potentially win the B12, it's a good time for him to announce his retirement effective end of the upcoming season and hand it over to Morgan Scalley. You know, go out on a high note.
Anyone hearing anything or care to speculate?
