with or play games with when family gets together. Everyone else I pretty much just throw away the high school graduation invitation. My kids don’t order them, and we don’t send them out, because we just invite close family, so I don’t feel too guilty about it. If we have no relationship outside of attending the same ward, yeah, I’m not attending the graduation or sending a gift as I would expect the same in return.

That’s probably cold, but I’m a practical person and it complies with the golden rule. I would not expect a grad invite without a close relationship.
