Having a bunch of athletes with the same easy major is the least new, sketchy, shocking thing going on in D1 sports at the moment.

Most athletes have had easy majors. They have an incredible amount of resources available to them to finish assignments, papers, study for tests, etc. People will go to classes and take notes for them, they have tutors that basically sit next to them as they write papers and tell them what to write, they have study buddies, they have people who will physically turn in assignments for them so they don't have to worry about it.

My roommate in the dorms at BYU was a track and field guy. The amount of time he devoted to track and field was INSANE. The amount of time he devoted to his classes was laughably low. He’d go to study hall for a couple of hours here and there and that was kind of it…

This isn't new or shocking.
