Company policy dictates a formal 1-on-1 at least once a quarter. Those 1-on-1s
are what our bonuses and/or pay raises are tied to, though they are supposed to be focused on career development, etc. and not just a performance review.

There is enough interaction with my supervisor on a daily basis I don't really feel the need to meet more often than that on a formal basis, though he's willing to do so as often as any of his team members would like.
