lingering small cough that never quite goes away. Any CB insight?
Seeking experiences from CB. To our knowledge, neither my wife nor I have had covid. However, for the past 2-3 years basically, we both have a nagging cough that will only come periodically, like when we get a little out of breath, or randomly while lying down at night . They never seem to be be fully productive coughs, but the fits last about 2-3 min or less at a time. Additionally, I will get an itchy throat where I NEED to cough to scratch it (so to speak) or it will force me to go into a coughing attack for 30 seconds or so until I can satisfy it.

Quality of life is still great, but It feels as if our lungs are just off, and even when a quick coughing spell feels better, there is a very subtle lingering low under-rumble in the lungs suggesting there is always more just waiting to spring up when you least expect it. I have talked to others who have the same thing..

Obviously a doctors visit will give us answers and that is probably the next move, but I wanted to see if anyone on CB has had this experience or if they have any insight that may be helpful? I feel it is covid or maybe vaccine related but not positive. TIA.
