I really, really hope Coach Young does end up with an NBA-caliber recruit. If he can get someone to the NBA quickly, he
can continue to build on his "if you really want to end up in the NBA, this is your spot" narrative. If we go a couple years without an NBA draft pick, that narrative will lose its resonance. But I think he just might do it.
Either way, with our newly competitive NIL (and membership in the Big12), our recruiting should get a permanent bump.
