It wouldn't be BYU doing the paying; it would be BYU boosters.
Still, I don't know if I guy they offered Lanier a 7-digit NIL deal. But I do know there has been a recent influx in NIL funds with regards to the Royal Blue Collective that appears to have paid dividends.
