When it's lions vs hyenas, or bears vs wolves, I keep thinking if the lion or bear would just realize that if he/she just destroyed one of his foes at a time, the hyenas or wolves wouldn't attack all at once. They're about team attack, but that is their vulnerability. Yes, the lion/bear will take some bites under that scenario, but totally take down 3-5 of your attackers with a skull crashing bite or simply snap one of their legs and you'll survive. Keep trying to fend of the heard, you'll wear out and then become their meal.
