Makes sense, the gap will get wider. Accidents are caused by distractions

usually. Tesla autopilot doesn't get distracted. I look forward to when 90%+ of cars on the road are autopilot.

Just a guess, but I assume autopilot is used in lower risk situations. I’d want to see data comparing same routes
