Early in the movie, they say "We can't just go immediately up to the surface because we'll die of the bends because it takes time to decompress." Great, real science and needed for the plot line of the movie.
And the end of the Movie, the Aliens just bring them right up to the surface, and they walk right out into the sunshine. FINE, just let it go. It's not like most people watching really care that they can't do that and should have horrible cases of the bends. It's a movie, suspension of belief is part of the game.
BUT NO!!! the main character turns to another character and says "We should have died, we didn't decompress!"
COME ON, don't TELL us as an audience that you screwed up the science, just let us enjoy the climax at the end of the movie!!!
